CROSS IF YOU CAN....
Circular turn, Slippery tracks , Gravels, Sand, Mud...... No this is not a NatGeo video; this is the Manual Robotics challenge in UPES for the budding robotists in the country.
Innovative, sturdy, stable design with a speedy yet accurate mechanism of constructing a machine is what you need @ TEKNOBOTTS to win the race against your opponents.
Mind well, one wrong step and you might end up NO WHERE.

1 PROBLEM STATEMENT
Make a manually controlled machine which can conquer heights and race against bots in various arenas.
2 ARENA SPECIFICATION
1. Zone A
Zone A is at ground level with in a square of dimensions 300mmX300mm(LXB).
2. Zone B
Zone B is an inclined surface with an inclination of 38° with the horizontal track. The plane ascends from the ground level to a height of 32cm . The side walls of Zone A and Zone B are coplanar.
(Note: The given diagram is in 2-D)
3. Zone C
Zone C is a flat L shaped track laid with small pebbles and speed breakers.
4. Zone D
Zone D is a curved track which is banked at an angle of 23°. Further the track is laid with gravels.
5. Zone E
Zone E is a flat surface with an obstacle with a maximum weight of 500gm.
6. Zone F
Zone F is a curved surface.
7. Zone G
Zone G is curved track in the beginning and followed by a flat track with bulging.
8. Zone H
Zone H is a straight track divided by a wall.
9. Zone I
Zone I is a curved track with a hinged door at the beginning and consists of pits.
10. Zone J
Zone J is a straight track with mud.
11. Zone K
Zone k is declining track with an inclination of 38° with the ground level.
3 MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS
3.1 Dimensions and Fabrication
1. The machine must fit within a box of dimensions 250mm X 250mm X 250mm (LXBXH) at the beginning of the game.
2. The external wireless/wired remote control used to control the machine is not included in this size constraint.
3. The onboard power on the machine must fit within the aforementioned box.
4. Machine should not be constructed using readymade Lego kits or any readymade gear assemblies. Violating this clause will lead to the disqualification of the team.
3.2 Power Supply
1. The machine can use an externally placed or on board electric non-electric power supply . Use of compressor is not allowed. However the power supply must be non-polluting and must satisfy constraints determined by judges.
2. In case of electric power supply, the voltage at any point on an individual component must be lower than 15V at any point of time during the game.
3. The organisers will provide power supply.
3.3 Controls
1. The machine can be controlled by some wired/wireless remote control mechanism at all stages of the game.
2. In case of wired mechanism, the wire must be slack at any point of time during the game. The total length of the wire extending from remote control to the machine must be atleast 5 meters.
4 RULES
4.1 Competition Rules
1. The maximum run time for a race is 15 minutes.
2. If the participants are not able to finish the track in the given time then the participants that has reached furthest on the track wins.
3. For any technical fault, the participants will be given one chance to rectify the fault and one minute will be added to the game time of completion.
4. The participants are not allowed to enter the arena at any point of time.
5. The participants are not allowed to touch their machines once placed in Zone A without prior permission from the organizers.
4.2 General Rules
1. Judges reserve the right to disqualify any team indulging in misbehavior or violating any rules.
2. Any team that is not ready at the specified will be disqualified from the competition automatically.
3. The machine would be checked for its safety before the race and would be discarded if found unsafe for other participants and separators.
4. The name of the machine must be prominently displayed on the machine.
5. Judges decision shall be treated as final and binding on all.
Team Specification
A team consist of a maximum of 6 participants. Participants from different branches can form a team.
